Aug. 23 –

Theft of property III. Officers investigated a report that $63 was stolen from Progress Rail between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Aug. 20.

Aug. 24 –

Theft of property III. A49-year-old male reported the theft of metal parts from an old truck located in the 1000 block of Piedmont Cutoff that occurred between 9:30 a.m. and 9:50 a.m.

Possession of marijuana I. Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Sterling Street after being notified that there was marijuana growing there.

Aug. 26 –

Recovered firearm/lost property. Officers recovered a Taurus Judge revolver .410 on Highway 9 between County Roads 8 and 175.

Theft of property II. A 62-year-old female reported that 100 tablets of Hydrocodone pills were stolen from her at 4:30 p.m. Aug. 25 at Gregerson’s Supermarket.

Lost property. An 80-year-old male reported losing a wallet containing $1,600 in cash, credit cards, and personal identification on Caldwell Street between 1:30 p.m. and 2 p.m.

Theft of property III. A 54-year-old female reported the theft of a catalytic converter from a Buick Century that occurred on Nolan Street between noon and 2 p.m. Aug. 20.

Aug. 25 – Joshua Lee McMurray, 27, theft of property I.

Terry Anthony Proctor, 24, failure to pay.
