A native of Wilmington, N.C., and a resident of Borden Springs. She is the daughter of Wallace and Evelyn Webb Boddy. Mrs. Bass was a real estate broker for 25 years with American Homes. She was a member of the Piedmont 7th Day Adventist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Albert George Bass; daughters, Terri Veal and Cathy Bass, both of Piedmont; brothers, Vance, Mark and Craig Boddy; grandchild, Adrian Bass; nieces, Kelly, Christine and Alexis Boddy; nephews, Grant, Colin and Ryan Boddy.
Funeral services for Mrs. Bass was conducted on Sunday August 22, 2010, at 3 p.m. from the Folsom’s Heritage Chapel with Pastor Ricky Blythe and Wallace Boddy officiating.
