• Piedmont food bank distributes food the second Monday of each month from 8 a.m. until noon. Donations are accepted and appreciated.

• Piedmont Lions Club meets the first and third Monday at 6 p.m. with a meal and guest speaker on the second floor of the Civic Center, 500 McFarland Ave., by Fagan's Park. For more information about joining the club, call president Stephen Bradley at 452-7983.

• Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) meets the third Monday from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Covenant Life Ministries. The non-denominational organization is a program designed to nurture mothers with children from infancy through kindergarten. Call 820-2455 for more information or visit www.mops.org.

• Dailey Street Baptist Church's Brotherhood meets for breakfast and a devotional at 7 a.m. the first Sunday. The Women's Missionary Union meets at 6:30 p.m. the second Tuesday. Call 447-6301 for more information.

• Lozahatchee Lodge NO. 97, F&AM, meets on the first and third Thursdays at 7 p.m. Supper is usually served on the first Thursday at 6 p.m. The lodge is located on the US 278 Highway Bypass at Steinberg Road.

• Independent Order of Odd Fellows meets each Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the building at the corner of Highway 278 and Fifth Avenue. For more information, call 447-6367.
