Survivors include three sons, Billy Joe Morgan, Jr, Brian Morgan and Terry Morgan all of Piedmont; seven sisters, Mary Lois Trotter, June Trotter, Sylvia Graham, Betty Taylor, Judy Wallace (David) and Debbie Gowens (Jerry) all of Piedmont and Vonda Reeves of Turkey Town; two brothers, Woodrow Brown, Jr. (Jan) of Alexandria and Cotton Brown of Piedmont; one half-sister, Linda Morgan of Piedmont; one half-brother, Jonathan Morgan of Piedmont; and several nieces and nephews. The Alabama Army National Guard Honor Guard served as pallbearers.
Mr. Morgan was a native and lifelong resident of Piedmont. He was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from the Alabama Army National Guard. He was a member of the V.F.W. and American Legion Post #98 in Piedmont. He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Ann Morgan; mother and step-father, Lila and Woodrow Brown; father, Rollie Morgan; and two brothers, James E. Morgan and Ronnie Morgan.
