June 1 –

Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle. A 38-year-old female reported the theft of a day planner containing $100 in currency, seven rings valued at $100, a make-up bag containing miscellaneous items, a pair of sunglasses, an Alabama drivers license, three Social Security cards, and medications valued at $10 that occurred between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. at an unknown location.

Foreign recovery. Officers recovered a green John Deere 42-inch cut lawn tractor valued at $1,200 from a location on Industrial Boulevard.

June 2 –

Theft of property III. Officers took a report about the disappearance of $25 in currency that occurred on Bethune Drive between 11 a.m. June 1 and 1 p.m. June 2.

Possession of a forged instrument II. Officers recovered a forged payroll check written for $301.73 from a location on Shady Grove Road.

June 3 –

Possession of a forged instrument II. Officers recovered a forged check written for $354.00 on a Regions Bank account.

Theft of property III. A 53-year-old female reported the disappearance of a Nokia flip phone model number 6350 that occurred between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. at a business located downtown.

June 4 –

Theft of property III. A 39-year-old male reported the theft of a green Next bicycle valued at $130 that disappeared between 11 p.m. June 3 and 11 a.m. June 4 from the 200 block of Dailey Street.

Theft of lost property III. A 45-year-old female reported the disappearance of a Nextel i560 black flip style phone valued at $200 that occurred at Pro South Wrestling between 7:30 p.m. and 7:45 p.m.

June 5 –

Theft of property III. A 42-year-old female reported the theft of a black Rolf’s wallet (containing a Medicaid card, Alabama drivers license and a Social Security card) valued at $100 that occurred at her residence between May 5 and May 10.

June 6 –

Theft of property III. A 52-year-old male reported the theft of a dark green Old Town canoe vith black seats valued at $450 that disappeared from Ingram Drive between June 2 and June 4.

Criminal mischief III. A 61-year-old male reported damage done to the front end of his vehicle at 3:15 p.m. while located on Southern Avenue.

June 7 –

Theft of property III. A 60-year-old male reported the theft of a girl’s Roadmaster 24-inch mountain bike valued at $90 that occurred on Barlow Street between 9 p.m. and 9:42 p.m. June 6. The bike was white with blue writing on the side.

Arrests –

June 2 – Jerry Ray Morgan, 39, federal indictment.

June 3 – Sedrick Lavon Towells, 40, possession of marijuana I.

June 4 – Joshua Coty Westbrook, 23, possession of drug paraphernalia.

June 5 – Rosanna Goswick Nicholson, 38, driving under the influence – alcohol.

Andre Desmond Jelks, 26, driving under the influence – alcohol.

June 6 – Jessica Renae Jackson, 19, non-support (Etowah County warrant).

Adam Jacob Studdard, 21, contempt.

June 7 – Clifford Earl Parker, 66, contempt.

Sara Burns Mosley, 47, contempt.

Monica Renae Zayas, 20, contempt.

Nathaniel Paul Maier, 27, contempt.
