He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Shirley Jean Kelley, of Piedmont; two daughters, Cassandra Brown and her husband, Barry, of Fayetteville, Texas and Janet Lynn Yates, of Jacksonville; a son, Kevin Dwayne Kelley, of Jacksonville; a sister, Darlene Kimberly, of Piedmont; two brothers, David Kelley, of Jacksonville and Billy Kelley, of Piedmont; four grandsons, Barry “B.J.” Brown Jr., Joshua Wayne Brown, Miles Parker Brown and Jake Brian Kelley.
Mr. Kelley was a native and lifelong resident of Calhoun County and was previously employed at Blue Mountain Industries, Adelaide Mills and Union Yarn Mill. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter and two sisters. He loved his Lord and never met a stranger.
