Funeral services for Lena Ruth Boozer, 77, were Thursday, June 3, 2010, at 11 a.m. at the K.L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Center Chapel in Jacksonville, with The Rev. Dr. Deryl Wood officiating. Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Boozer died Tuesday, June 1, 2010, at RMC in Anniston.

She is survived by one daughter, Ruth Diane Bryant; one son, James Henry Boozer; two grandchildren, Sean Boozer and David Bryant; one great-grandson, Tyson Boozer; two nieces and three nephews. Pallbearers were Johnny Bryant, Thomas Bryant, Joel Nance, Jack Hildebrant, George Finley and David Troup.

Mrs. Boozer was a member of Post Oak Springs Baptist Church where she was a member of the Vera Johnson Sunday School Class. She was also a member of the Eastern Star, AEA, NEA and a volunteer with the JCOC. Mrs. Boozer was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph H. Boozer, and her parents, Fletcher and Edna Traylor.
