Theft of property II. A 57-year-old female reported the theft of a Brute air compressor, a gas leaf blower, a gas weed eater, and a tool set for the air compressor with a total value of $1,050 that occurred between May 5 and May 11 on Draper Street.
Harassment. A 37-year-old male reported an incident that occurred on Memorial Drive around 4 p.m.

Theft of property III. A 71-year-old male reported $360 worth of copper tubing that was taken from a location on Southern Avenue between noon and 6 p.m.
May 13 –
Criminal mischief III. A 32-year-old female reported damage done to a green 1995 Chevrolet Suburban while located on Anniston Avenue.
Cruelty to animals. Officers investigated an incident that occurred on Hughes Street between 5:40 p.m. and 5:50 p.m.
May 14 –
Receiving stolen property II, theft by deception. Officers recovered a Stihl pole saw and a Savage bolt action 22-caliber rifle from a local pawn shop. The owner of the pawn shop then filed a complaint for theft by deception for $200.
Robbery III. A 29-year-old male reported an incident that occurred around 2:10 p.m. in the parking lot of a business located on Highway 278.
May 16 –
Failure to pay for gasoline. Officers were called to a convenience store when a customer left without paying for $5 worth of gasoline.
Theft of property III. A 57-year-old female reported the theft of an Alabama handicap license plate that occurred on West Hood Street between Feb. 20 and May 14.
