May 3 –

Theft of services III. Officers investigated an incident that occurred on Anniston Avenue and involved electrical services.

Mail tampering. A 75-year-old male reported unknown person(s) opened two pieces of his mail between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Shady Grove Road.

May 4 –

Harassing communications. A 22-year-old resident of Caton Street reported an incident that occurred between 2 p.m. and 2:20 p.m. May 3.

Domestic violence III. A 53-year-old female reported an incident that occurred between noon and 12:30 p.m. on Kines Road.

Burglary III. A 32-year-old male reported a burglary that occurred between 4:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on Hill Avenue and involved the theft of several guns that were later located.

Duty upon striking an unoccupied vehicle. A 61-year-old female reported damage done to her 1999 Pontiac Transport van in an incident that occurred on Church Street between noon and 1 p.m.

Harassment. A 13-year-old male reported an incident that occurred on Hughes Street at 5:20 p.m.

May 5 –

Burglary III. A 30-year-old female reported the theft of Craftsman tools (sawzall, drill, screw driver and gas chainsaw) valued at $500 that occurred on Woolf Avenue around 6:30 p.m. May 4.

Assault II. A 27-year-old female reported an incident that occurred on Highway 200 between 11 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.

May 7 –

Theft of property III. Officers investigated the theft of $10 worth of lithium Energizer batteries from a location on Highway 278.

Arrests

May 5 – Shaun Dewayne Bailey, 31, domestic violence III.

May 6 – Jessica Lynn Smallwood, 26, failure to appear.

Jonathan Wayne Finch, 20, attempting to elude a police officer.

May 7 – Patrick Shane Coheley, 37, theft of property III.
