Survivors include his wife Louise Anderson, his son Steve Anderson and wife Becky of Heflin, his daughter Sharon Hilburn and husband Jerry of Centre, his granddaughter Cristy Hancock and her husband Randy of Walhalla, SC, his grandsons Jeremy Anderson and his fiancée Melinda Cox of Walhalla, SC, Trace Hilburn and his fiancée Jessica Evanoff of Cave Springs, GA, and Kirk Anderson of Heflin. Six great-grandsons Kegan Hancock, Colin Anderson, Dawson Hancock, Drew Cox, Jackson Hancock, and Camden Anderson all of Walhalla, SC.
Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by a son, Michael T. Anderson, his mother Myrtle Kirk Anderson, and his father Joe A. Anderson.
Mr. Anderson was a native of Cherokee County and a resident of Piedmont most of his life.
