Funeral service for Ruth Champion Walker Roper Warren, 80, of Jacksonville, were at 1 p.m., Saturday, February 20, 2010, at Gray Brown-Service with the Rev. Ken James officiating. Burial followed at Edgemont. Mrs. Warren died Wednesday evening, Feb. 17 at Regional Medical Center.

Survivors include: daughters, Patsy Williams (Dennis), Betty Johnson, Alice Pierce, and Lynda Crawford; sons, Dennis Walker, Michael Walker, and David Roper; 17 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and 5 great great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Warren is preceded in death by her husbands, Lonnie Ernest Walker, Amos Roper, and Curtis Warren; parents W.T. and Cora Champion; brothers, Ernest, Ralph and Howard Champion; and sister Peggy Champion. Pallbearers will be grandsons.
