•Alcoholics Anonymus meets at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday and from 2:30-3:30 p.m. on Sunday at 801 Hughes St.

• FOOD PANTRY DISTRIBUTES the last Saturday of the month from 10 a.m.-noon at Piedmont Church of the Nazarene. All donations are accepted.

• PIEDMONT FOOD BANK distributes food the second Monday of each month from 8 a.m. until noon. Donations are accepted and appreciated.

• PIEDMONT LIONS CLUB meets the first and third Monday at 6 p.m. with a meal and guest speaker on the second floor of the Civic Center, 500 McFarland Ave., by Fagan’s Park. For more information about joining the club, call president Stephen Bradley at 452-7983.

• LOZAHATCHEE LODGE NO. 97, F&AM, meets on the first and third Thursdays at 7 p.m. Supper is usually served on the first Thursday at 6 p.m. The lodge is located on the US 278 Highway Bypass at Steinberg Road.

• PIEDMONT HEALTH CARE Authority will meet every third Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. at Piedmont Health Care Center. The public is invited to attend.

• DISABLED AMERICAN VETERANS meet every second Tuesday at 6 p.m.

• AEROBICS AT THE Civic Center will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

• THE PARKS AND Recreation Board meeting is held the second Tuesday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Clyde Pike Civic Center.

• PIEDMONT CUB SCOUTS meet every Monday night at 6:15 p.m. at the scout house located at the Piedmont Sports Complex. Boys ages 7 through 10 or first through fifth grade are invited to join the adventure of Cub Scouting. Come by the Scout house to sign up.

• REBEKAH CHAPTER 31 will meet at 7 p.m. on the second and fourth Monday at the Odd Fellow Lodge on U.S. Highway 278

• THE LOZAHATCHEE CHAPTER of the Order of the Eastern Star meets the first and third Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Masonic Lodge on U.S. Hwy. 278 Bypass. For more information call 447-6316.

• VETERANS OF FOREIGN Wars Doyce F. Hamrick Post No. 4263 meets the third Tuesday of each month at 2 p.m. at the Clyde Pike Civic Center.

• PIEDMONT SAVAGE-STEWART Camp No. 522 of the Sons of Confederate Veterans has its regular meeting the fourth Thursday of every month in the Odd Fellow’s Lodge beginning at 6:30 p.m.

• CALHOUN COUNTY DHR Satellite Office is open each Monday from 9 a.m. until noon. The office is located at 204 Lea St. next door to the Community Action Agency of Calhoun County. The DHR office phone number is 447-9563. The Piedmont Housing Authority sponsors this office.
