Memorial services for Johnna “Joyce” Howard, 45, of Spring Garden were Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the Highway 9 Church of Christ in Piedmont with Mr. Steve Hall officiating. Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Howard died Thursday, January 28, 2010 at her home.

She is survived by her husband, Marvin R. Howard; three children, April J. Howard, Heather D. Howard and Stephen F. Howard; her father, Bobby J. Harvel; a sister, Bobbi A. Brantley (Milton); and a nephew, Joey R. Brantley all of Spring Garden.

Mrs. Howard was born in Hope, Arkansas and had been a member of the Church of Christ for 27 years. She was preceded in death by her mother, Clara J. Harvel; and by a brother, Bobby Wayne Harvel.
