Funeral services for Eloise Hilburn, age 63, of Piedmont, were held on Wednesday January 27, 2010, at 2 p.m. from the Heritage Chapel of the Folsom Funeral Home. Mrs. Hilburn died at Gadsden Regional Medical Center. Burial followed at Union Grove Cemetery.

A native of Piedmont, Mrs. Hilburn was born on July 29, 1946, the daughter of the late Morris and Lucille Maddox Lockridge. She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Hilburn in 1998 and two sisters; Eula Mae McElwee & Betty Parris; one brother; Gene Lockridge.

Survivors include four sisters; Ruby Hitchcock, Jewell Cooper, Louise Boatner & Carol Cobb; 3 brothers, Benny, Floyd & Charles Lockridge. Several nephews and nieces also survive.
