Since that day four weeks ago, Darlene Cook has suspected her daughter has been around town, but with no proof she's been understandably worried for her safety. It has been especially hard on Carla's seven-year-old son.
"If anybody's seen her or knows where she's at, tell her to please get in touch with her mother and her son." said Darlene.
According to a press release from Piedmont Police Chief Steven Tidwell: "The family of Carla Fuqua reports that they have not seen nor heard from Mrs. Fuqua since Thursday, Oct. 29. No foul play is suspected and evidence suggests that Mrs. Fuqua has visited the Piedmont area several times since she was last seen by her family. Piedmont Police and the subject's family request your assistance in locating her and confirming her safety. If anyone has information that may assist in the investigation of this case, please contact Sergeant Carolyn Durham at 447-9091."
Carla Fuqua is described as a white female, 28 years old, 5'4" tall, and weighs approximately 100 pounds, with blue eyes and sandy blonde hair.
