Plans for the annual City of Piedmont and Piedmont Business Council Christmas Parade are underway. Entries for the Christmas Parade can be picked up at Formby Furniture, Ole Mill Realty, Carolyn & Tammys, Piedmont City Clerk's Office, Piedmont Clyde H. Pike Civic Center, Solid Rock Cafe, or the Piedmont Housing Authority. Today is the deadline for entries in this year's parade: Wednesday, November 25, 2009.

This year's parade has the same criteria as years past with no Four Wheel Drive trucks, motorcycles, Four Wheelers, or Horses. Applications can be emailed to any party wishing to enter this year's Christmas Parade.

Piedmont Christmas Parade will be Dec. 5 in downtown Piedmont. Festivities start at noon and the parade starts at 4 p.m.
