The following areas will be affected by the outage: Nesbit Lake, Pleasant Valley and Pleasant Valley Church, Webster Chapel, part of Roy Webb, Asberry, Tredeger and part of the Williams Community.
Also on Oct. 20, Alabama Power will have a scheduled power outage that will begin at 8 a.m. and last approximately four hours. The following areas will be affected by the outage: Roy Webb Community, New Liberty Road and New Liberty Church and the Williams Community.
These outages are necessary in order for Cherokee Electric and Alabama Power to complete some much needed system improvements.
