Thelma Olene Morgan, age 85, of Piedmont, died Thursday January 28, 2010 at Piedmont Healthcare. Mrs. Morgan was a member of the Faith Baptist Church.

Mrs. Morgan was born on March 6, 1924, the daughter the late Edward & Corene Goss Grissom. Also preceded in death was her husband; Clark D. Morgan, two sons; Michael & Gerald Morgan; one daughter; Cathy Morgan.

Survivors include her five sons: Jack (Vera) Morgan, Freddie (Sandra) Morgan, Milton (Renee) Morgan, Rex (Sue) Morgan, and Keith (Ellen) Morgan; two daughters; Janice (John) McCord, Rhonda (Jerry) Stewart; three sisters; Mary Kelley, Sherry Pruitt & Gloria Grissom; one brother; George Grissom. 21 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren & 6 great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Morgan were conducted on Saturday January 30, 2010, at 11 a.m. at Folsom Funeral Home’s “Heritage Chapel” with Rev. Clark Smart officiating. Burial followed in Union Grove Cemetery in Rock Run.
