Funeral service for Matthew Craig Faulkner, 25, was at 11 a.m. Monday, February 1, 2010, at Harmony Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Faulkner was a native and life long resident of Choccolocco and a member of Iron City Baptist Church. He graduated from the University of Alabama with a BS in Commerce and Business Administration and was currently attending JSU pursuing his masters in Business Administration. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Lillian Faulkner.

He is survived by his parents, Phillip A. and Melody Faulkner, of Choccolocco; a brother, Daniel Kyle Faulkner, of Choccolocco; his grandparents, Oscar Faulkner, Jr., of Choccolocco and Otis and Ann Cain, of Nances Creek and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Pallbearers will be Brandon Hicks, Brandon Bishop, Evan Jackson, Jacob Green, John Moore, Matthew Heathcock, Chris Gomez, and Nick Duckett. Honorary Pallbearers will be his many, many friends.
