Memorial services for James Aaron Holland, 66, of Piedmont were Friday, January 29, 2010 at 2 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory with the Rev. Ellis McDill officiating. Mr. Holland died Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Birmingham.

Survivors include his wife, Isabella Holland of Piedmont; eight children, David Holland (Annette) of Australia, Beverly Davis (Bobby) of Piedmont, Barbara Caswick (Steve) of Piedmont, Audrey Wright (Frank) of Hollywood, Clinton Mills (Sabrina) of Piedmont, Barry Mills (Kim) of Piedmont, Deborah McDill (Norman) of Lincoln and Elizabeth Roberts (Nathan) of Piedmont; 18 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; one aunt, Evelyn Williams of Jacksonville; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mr. Holland was a native and resident of Piedmont most of his life and was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
