The second nine week period at Piedmont City Schools is now come and gone but not without twenty seven (27) Piedmont Housing Authority students being recognized for their academic excellence by the local Authority and Piedmont McDonalds.

Keith Word, Executive Director of the Piedmont Housing Authority said he is always proud of his kids who work hard to make the A-Team (Academic Team) and is very proud to recognize them with the McDonalds Party compliments of Mr. & Mrs. David Niesler, Owners, Mrs. Pam Traywick, Manager, and Mrs. Lisa Evans, Assistant Manager. Word said this partnership with McDonalds has really been a true blessing for our agency and our kids and youth.

Word said it is always a real pleasure and treat to be at the Piedmont McDonalds with these outstanding students. Some times I just want to take them all home with me said Word. They are indeed the “Best of the Best” in housing and we are always so very proud of their hard work and accomplishments.
