Steve Flowers: Two Congressional races will be interesting

Congressional seats are almost equivalent to federal judgeships. As you know, federal jurists are appointed for life. Congressmen run every two years but in reality they basically have lifetime tenure.

Lea Fite: There is only one day left in the 2008 regular legislative session, which ends on May 19.

It has been productive session for the House, where we have passed major reforms and bills that will make Alabama better.
