Capt. Warren completes degree

Air Force Capt. Dara Warren received her associate degree in nursing from Hinds Community College in Jackson, Miss. She then enrolled at the University of Alabama to obtain her bachelor’s in nursing while working full time as a neonatal intensive care nurse. She graduated magna cum laude in August 2002. After receiving a commission in the United States Air Force, she went into active duty January 2004. She has since been stationed at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, and Balad Air Base in Iraq. She is currently completing a master’s of science in nursing case management via distance education through the University of Alabama while continuing her military service in Okinawa, Japan. She is the daughter of Ben and Darla Warren and the granddaughter of Sam and Marguerite Lloyd and the late J.C. and Katherine Warren.
