Rogers-Pope wedding set for Tate's Chapel

Bobby Don and Charlayne Rogers of Centre announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Anna Ruth, to Nicholas Ross Pope, son of Charles and Angela Pope of Rock Run.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Martha Hobbs of Cedar Bluff and the late Charles E. Hobbs, and Glancy and Geneva Watson of Rome, Ga., and the late Bobby Jack Rogers. She is the sister of Bradley and Amanda Rogers of Centre and is a 2003 graduate of Cherokee County High School. She attended Gadsden State Community College and is employed by Alfa Insurance Co.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Pat Pope of Piedmont and the late Doyle Pope and the late Fred and Iris Goss. He is the brother of Caleb Pope of Rainbow City and Carra Pope of Rock Run. He is a 2003 graduate of Spring Garden High School and majored in computer networking at Coosa Valley Technical College. He is employed by Gregerson’s of Piedmont.

The wedding will be Saturday, Aug. 9, at Tate’s Chapel Baptist Church.
