• We welcome our new pastor, Deborah Moon, to our church and community. She comes to us from Guntersville First United Methodist Church where she was associate pastor and leader of the Genesis Worship service which is an off campus worship and program center designed to reach out to those in need.

• We had a great time at the County Fair during Vacation Bible School this week. The kids had fun while they learned more about God and how He loves us. They also learned about giving to others. The girls competed against the boys to see which team could bring more food items to donate to the Food Bank. The girls won the competition and the opportunity to give Scroggin a face full of pie.
• “Discovering God through Scripture” will be the theme of the Discovery weekend. This special weekend was open to all area youth entering the seventh grade through this year’s seniors, and involved extensive planning and organization prior to Discovery weekend.
