Clyde Pike Civic Center seniors see Braves play

The most recent outing for the senior citizens of the Clyde Pike Civic Center was driving over to Rome, Ga, to see the Rome Braves play on June 12.

Bruce Wallace drove the van and accompanying the senior citizens was senior director Craig Russell.

The Rome Braves lost by 1 point in the ninth inning to Charleston, S. C. The final score was 3-4.

The seniors ate at Ryans in downtown Rome before the game.

Senior citizens going on the trip included Aggie Harbour, Latassie Starr, Kathleen Amberson, Helen Spoon, Ed Spoon, Nellie Joe Prater, Harry Arnold, Betty Lawler, Carol Fairs, Lillian Smith and Era Smallwood.
