'Best of the Best' are recognized for academics

Fifteen students who reside with the Piedmont Housing Authority were recognized for being “Best of the Best” They were recognized by the housing authority and Piedmont McDonald’s for making the honor roll or perfect attendance for the fourth nine weeks reporting period. Piedmont Housing authority director Keith Word bragged on the students at the party, telling them how proud of them he, his staff and the board are. Those students who made the grade but could not attend were Carl Myers, Christopher Dyson, Matthew Stitts, Wendy Bailey, Bethany Pettus, David Pettus, and Desiree Jordan.
