• Criminal mischief — A resident of Forgotten Road reported damage done to a vehicle’s windshield and rear glass shield flutters between June 1 and June 6.

• Harassing communications — A 45-year-old resident reported an incident that occurred at 2:05 p.m.

• Harassing communications — A resident of Carol Street reported an incident that occurred between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.

July 22

• Criminal mischief, domestic violence — A 20-year-old female reported an ex-boyfriend was involved in a domestic violence act that also caused damage to two cell phones and a television.

• Theft of property — A resident of Hamilton Drive reported the theft of a 2009 tag decal that occurred between May 2 and July 22.

July 24

• Documentation of criminal mischief — A resident of Ray Avenue reported three medium and three small window glass panels were damaged between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.

• Theft of Property III — A resident of Dogwood Lane reported a family member had taken a Jackson welding mask valued at $55.

• Domestic violence — A 41-year-old female reported an incident that occurred around 11 p.m.

July 25

• Theft of property — A resident of Fosket Street reported the theft of a purple and blue Murray ladies bicycle valued at $70.

• Domestic violence — Police investigated an incident of domestic violence that occurred on Riddle Avenue between 10 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.

July 26

• Harassing communications — A 29-year-old female reported an incident that occurred between 12:30 p.m. July 24 and noon July 26.

• Criminal mischief — A resident of White Street reported an incident that occurred between 2 p.m. and 3:50 p.m. that resulted in $150 damage done to a wooden door.

July 27

• Theft of property — Political signs valued at $250 were reported stolen from multiple locations within the city.

Arrests

• July 21: Officers arrested Charles Musselman, 58, at 1:40 p.m. on warrants for driving under the influence, driving while licensed was revoked, and contempt of court.

• July 21: Arnold David Smith, 22, Billy Jack Snider, 31, William Michael Benefield, 36, and Jackie Leewade Studdard, 21, were arrested later that afternoon for contempt of court.

• July 22: Officers arrested Donald Eugene Nichols, 45, at 6:06 a.m. on charges of driving under the influence.

• July 23: Officers arrested Lisa Marie Fuqua, 28, at 2:31 a.m. on warrants for two counts of contempt of court.

• July 23: Michael Anthony Stitts, 27, was arrested on warrants for criminal trespassing III and resisting arrest.

• July 24: Officers arrested Christopher D. Wood, 44, on warrants for failure to appear on charges of improper tag and driving while license was revoked. He was released to a member of the Heflin Police Department.

• July 25: Officers arrested William Earl Woolf, 58, at 11:30 p.m. on charges of Domestic Violence III and resisting arrest.

• July 25: Kitty Lynn Woolf, 54, was also arrested and charged with domestic violence.

• July 25: Diane Jo Woolf Paulk, 62, was arrested in the incident and charged with Assault II and resisting arrest.

• July 26: Officers arrested Steven Keith Newell, 19, at 4:01 p.m. on charges of Criminal Trespass III. At 8:01 p.m.

• July 26: Terrance Spears, 27, was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct.

• July 27: Officers arrested Jeannie Dawn Barrett, 48, at 5:22 a.m. on Main Street and charged her with driving under the influence.
