April 9

• Documentation of hit and run — Officers documented a case of hit and run that occurred in the parking lot behind Watson’s Drug Store around 4:30 p.m.

• Theft of property — An antique dresser, six aluminum window frames, plastic bathtub, 70-feet of copper wire and a quantity of aluminum siding were reported taken from a location on Old Piedmont Gadsden Highway between noon April 8 and 4 p.m. April 9.

April 10

• Unlawful possession of a controlled substance — An officer recovered four white tablets from a location on the Cedartown Highway.

• Theft of property — A resident of Ray Avenue reported the theft of two white-gold wedding bands valued at $449.28 that occurred between March 27 and April 10.

• Unlawful possession of a controlled substance — An officer recovered 20 white round tablets imprinted with 2410, 54 white capsules imprinted with Pfizer/PGN 150, and four white oblong tablets imprinted with Provigil 200 MG at a location on Williams Street.

• Theft of property — A resident of Old Gnatville Road reported the theft of a catalytic converter and exhaust system valued at $300.

April 11

• Terroristic threats — An employee of the school system reported incidents that occurred between Nov. 1 and April 10.

• Receiving stolen property — Two white-gold wedding bands were recovered from a local pawnshop.

• Theft of Property III — A pawnshop reported the theft of $60 in cash that occurred between March 26 and March 31.

• Harassment — A resident of Old Ladiga Road reported an incident that occurred around 4:15 p.m.

• Criminal mischief — A resident of Morgan Avenue reported a glass window for a mini-van sliding door was damaged by a brick in an incident that occurred around 9:45 p.m. on Caton Street.

April 12

Theft of property. A resident of Old Ladiga Road reported the theft of a silver 2007 Toyota Tacoma.

Arrests

• April 9: Christopher Berry Kelley, 25, was arrested at 8:23 a.m. on a warrant for failure to appear on charges of possession of marijuana.

• April 9: Officers arrested Warren Richard Vines, Jr., 34 at 11:42 p.m. and charged him with carrying a pistol without a permit.

• April 11: Officers arrested Angelica Swain Teague, 43, at 5:45 p.m. on a warrant for harassment.

• April 12: Officers arrested Christopher Paul Butler, 42, and charged him with possession of marijuana II.
