• Domestic violence — A 52-year-old male resident reported he and an acquaintance were involved in an incident that occurred between 9:10 p.m. and 9:20 p.m.

• Domestic violence — A 20-year-old female resident of Mack Alexander Road reported an incident involving a boyfriend that occurred around 10 p.m.

• Identity theft — A 43-year-old male reported an incident that occurred between March 15 and March 29.

April 1

• Terroristic threats — A resident of Old Shady Grove Road reported incidents involving a friend that occurred between noon March 25 and noon March 26.

April 2

• Theft of services — A city employee reported electrical theft of services at a North Fifth Avenue location that occurred between Feb. 28 and April 2.

• Dog bite — A 42-year-old female reported being bitten by a dog at the corner of Sparks and Williams Streets between 5 p.m. and 8:34 p.m.

April 3

• Theft of Property III — A section of 15-foot copper piping valued at $100 was reported taken from a location on South Main Street between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

April 5

• Documentation of damage to vehicle — A resident of Pell City reported damage done to the passenger’s front door of a 2000 Honda Civic while in the parking lot of Berry Animal Clinic.

• Domestic violence — A 34-year-old female resident of Fieldside Drive reported an incident that occurred around 7:15 p.m.

• Burglary III — A V-Tech cordless telephone was reported taken from Piedmont Church of Christ around 9:30 p.m.

April 6

• Criminal mischief, criminal trespass — A 22-year-old female reported an incident that caused $100 damage to a door frame and lock that occurred between 8 p.m. April 5 and 12:35 p.m. April 6.

Arrests

• March 26: Officers arrested Bruce Van Smith, 41, on a warrant for harassment (domestic violence) at 12:52 p.m.

• March 31: Officers arrested Terrance Spears, 26, at 9:32 p.m. and charged him with Domestic Violence III.

• April 2: Officers arrested Tommy Morris Studdard, 22, at 1:43 a.m. on a warrant for contempt of court involving fines.

• April 2: Allen Scott Nicholson, 43, was arrested at 4:36 p.m. on a warrant for failure to appear on charges of driving while license was suspended.

• April 2: Wallace Eugene Peoples, 42, was arrested at 6:40 p.m. based on a warrant for Theft of Services III.

• April 2: James Brent Smith, 41, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on charges of driving while licensed was revoked at 6:57 p.m.

• April 5: Officers arrested Anthony Jerome Palmore, 37, on Hughes Street at 4:36 a.m. and charged him with driving under the influence.

• April 5: Samantha Sanders Walker, 25, was also arrested on the same charge around the same time.

• April 5: Officers arrested Oscar Fintan Durant, Jr., 38, and charged him with Domestic Violence III.

• April 5: Ricky Inzer Sanders, 22, was arrested and charged with burglary III at 11:20 p.m.

• April 6: Officers arrested James Kevin Layne, 38, at 2:07 a.m. and charged him with driving under the influence.
